Red Fish Island Kiteboarding Watch Video
Chris Summers and I rode out to Red Fish Island last Tuesday on a whim to see if it was any good for kiteboarding. We took the jetski and grabed some random riding footage along the way. The first picture in the video was taken at the beach we used as a launch just west of Eagle Point. Not a bad launch just very tight. The ride out to the islands was great and there were many smaller spits of beach along the way with waist deep shallow water. Red Fish island, as seen in the later clips is very deep in parts around the island and there is really only one good launch site on the south west side. We were on a T3 14m with the 2009 135 Len10 Lunacy board. The wind was blowing around 15mph out of the south west. Enjoy the vid!
